Role/Overview
Post-agency and pre-Backstage I spent a couple of years without a full-time job, instead deciding to test the waters of freelance and contract work I collaborated with both small design studios and prominent brands like North Street Creative, Krate Design, Brown Harris Stevens, and Getty Images. For many of these projects I was responsible for not only the design, but also much of the coding for the final product.
Work
Though I actually did a significant amount of branding and print work during this time (which I'll eventually showcase on this site as well), the bulk of it consisted of designing and building out websites. There's always been something I love about starting with a blank screen and the translation of a static design into a rich, interactive experience through code. I still dabble in a little web design every now and then, and below is a very small sampling of some work from my time as a freelancer and more recent work I've done for a few select clients in my spare time.
